Another Example of Government Tyranny

A Massachusetts fisherman accidentally caught a giant, 881 pound tuna - worth an estimated $400,000 - while fishing for bottom dwellers with a net.  When he got on shore, federal fishery enforcement agents were quick to confiscate his catch because he did not have the proper permit to fish for tuna which requires using a rod and reel.

Isn't it amazing that the same incompetent federal government which cannot keep track of the guns they knowingly sell to Mexican drug lords is so quick and efficient in confiscating an "illegally caught" tuna?  Federal tyranny knows no bounds when it comes to cracking down on citizens.  Just don't ask them to crack down on illegals or the Occupy movement.

This is no longer the "land of the free".

Crazy. Here in NC, we have size limits on grouper and other bottom dwellers. But if they get on a hook, and you bring them out of the pressures of the deep water, their guts pop out their mouths and they die. The law says you have to throw em back anyway. Stupid.

We have the same stupidity in Alaska. Scumbags in DC tell us what IS and what ISN'T endangered!

Now they've dropped the limit of Halibut from 2 a day to 1 for sportfisherman and gave the surplus to the commercial group. That means LESS people will go offshore for Halibut and the charter boats will suffer!
